Delivering to an apartment, condo or gated community

A lot of Las Vegas deliveries go to apartment complexes, condos and gated neighborhoods. A few minutes of prep avoids a missed delivery:

Gate codes and call boxes: Give the showroom your gate code or the name the guard should expect, and keep your phone on during the delivery window.
Elevators and loading areas: Ask your leasing office or HOA whether you need to reserve a freight elevator or loading spot, and whether deliveries are limited to certain hours.
Stairs and tight turns: Measure stairwell width, landings and the apartment door. Sectionals and sleeper sofas are the pieces most likely to get stuck.
Parking: Tell the showroom if the closest parking is far from your unit so the crew can plan the carry.
